Meet Jason Trahan, MD

Born and raised in Opelousas, Dr. Jason Trahan always had a passion for caring for others, especially for those right here at home.

As an Opelousas Catholic Alumni, Dr. Trahan completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from ULL, and worked as a Registered Nurse in ICU at Opelousas General Health System.  Dr. Trahan went on to attend medical school at LSU School of Medicine-New Orleans, which is where he also completed his Internship and Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery Residency.  As a proud Opelousas native, Dr. Trahan chose to return to his hometown to open an ENT practice to care for his community.

Being a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist as recognized by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Trahan believes in combining the latest surgical and minimally invasive techniques with the latest medicinal treatment.  Dr. Trahan provides comprehensive ENT, Allergy, and Audiology services for both pediatric and adult patients.  His range of services include Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), rhinoplasty, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, balloon sinuplasty, and allergy diagnosis and treatment to name a few.

When he is not busy caring for his patients, Dr. Trahan thoroughly enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie and their five children Mary Katherine, John Parker, Jackson, Ellis, and Celia Mae.  Although most of his free time is spent at the ballpark watching his kids sporting events, Dr. Trahan is also an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt and fish.

Dr. Trahan is currently accepting new patients of all ages, and is committed to providing each patient with a personal approach and exceptional care!  Call our office at (337) 594-6002 to schedule your appointment to see Dr. Trahan.
